Hi, I expect your William was from Yorkshire, as returned there. That is Rayner heartland. My family were from the Pudsey,Farnley,Tong area (near Barnsley), I can trace back to 1720. Further and it becomes tricky, as the records are scant, and the name so rife! No doubt we're distant cousins!

Hi all. Looking for where Hewitt Henry Rayner fits into this tree. He was the son of a male Rayner in Australia and Emily Edwards who was my grandfather's sister. Henry Rayner was married to Theresa ? and lived in England.

Hi all sorry to barge in like this but i am a fellow Rayner. I am trying to track down a coat of arms for the Rayner family and if you could point me in the right direction that would be great.

Welcome Mark, I have a coat of arms on this site here, which I believed was genuine until recently. My father actually bought a plaque many years ago which IS similar to the one I have but with subtle differences.
I will be taking a digi photo of it soon and then will pass it on via your email.
